Six Week Beginners Jewellery making
Who is it for?
This course is for absolute beginners for jewellery making! We will be starting with the basics and by the end of the course you will have made at least one of two pieces of jewellery and will begin to understand the fundamentals of jewellery making.
A written booklet on everything we learn about - this can be sent out electronically for you to have a read through!

What to expect?
Day 1 - Creating shapes- Health and Safety/Annealing/ texturing/stamping - working in copper
Day 2 - Sawing/ doming/ cutting - working in copper
Day 3 - Soldering and filing - working in copper/silver
Day 4 - Project Ring - working in copper and silver
Day 5 - Finish Ring/Independent creations! - working in copper and silver
Day 6 - Independent creations! - working in copper and silver

What happens after your
Karolinka will be opening the workshop space up to informal jewellery making. Music, tea and making. It will be a drop in running fortnightly on Wednesdays from 5 - 8pm where you can improve on your skills and work with the equipment and tools to keep on creating. Beginners welcome, this drop in isn't about teaching, it's about learning through play, skill sharing with others and building a community. This will be charged at £15 per person to cover costs.
